EURECAT

Eurecat is the main technology centre in Catalonia. With extensive experience in the development of innovative solutions based on intelligent functional materials and devices, Eurecat is responsible for coordinating the MADRAS project and leading the development of the IME process.


FAIVELEYTECH
FaiveleyTech, an expert in the transformation of technical polymers, develops and produces complete solutions for its partners in mobility, construction and equipment. It supports them in their digital and ecological transition, with integrated assemblies combining different processes (plastics processing, assembly, vision, etc.).


FUNCTIONAL PRINT CLUSTER FPC is an innovative Spanish cluster specialising in the development of functional printing. With 98 members (companies, universities and research centres), it manufactures products with new functionalities by printing, using traditional technologies (screen printing, inkjet, offset, etc.) and advanced materials (conductive, bioactive or thermochromic inks) on all types of substrates (paper, plastic, textile, glass, metal, etc.). The applications are numerous: circuits, alarms, sensors, antennas, batteries, keyboards, screens, intelligent packaging, solar panels, lamps, etc.


GRENOBLE INP Grenoble INP is a leading player in the scientific and industrial community and participated in the development of the MINT Chair, supported by Schneider Electric, whose objective was to develop a method for integrating electronic functions on 3D thermoplastics to produce hybrid communicating systems. The research work carried out led to the testing of several printing heads positioned on a 6-axis robot. The results obtained have made it possible to remove obstacles, such as the accessibility of the areas to be functionalized, the miniaturization of the devices, and their adaptation to an industrial environment.


GROUPE GTID The GTID group brings together three flagship companies in the field of advanced electronics: Protecno, Elliptika, Arc 3D, and two companies specialised in magnetic mechanics: TE2M and Api2m. Its areas of expertise are as follows: design offices (magnetic, mechanical, electronic), magnetic systems, magnetisation equipment, magnetic measurement equipment, maintenance, etc.


HEPIA HEPIA is a university of applied sciences for education and research, with institutes in the field of Industrial Sciences and Technologies. Its research areas include the design and measurement of plastronic antennas on any non-planar support material and the realisation of electronic functions on any support, including polymers.


FIMOR ELECTRONICS HMI-Fimor Electronics specialises in the manufacture of Human Machine Interface solutions, keyboards and polymer mouldings, and the distribution of high performance electronic components. The company has applications in the military, medical, aerospace, naval and harsh environments..


INSA LYON

The Foundation for the University of Lyon is supporting INSA, CPE Lyon and the Lycée Arbez Carme, in order to develop training for students and professionals (3D Plastronics project). A number of partners are involved, including the Ampère laboratory, which is developing a "3D Plastronics and Advanced Packaging" technical platform.


IM2NP

IM2NP is a multidisciplinary research unit with expertise in advanced materials, integrated electronics and nanoscience. SPRINT is IM2NP's platform for printed electronics on flexible substrates, facilitating research and technology transfer. It has fabrication, design and characterisation facilities to develop new sensitive communicating objects, combining sensors, memories, antennas and photodetectors printed on a flexible substrate.


IPC IPC is the global association that helps OEMs, EMSs, PCB manufacturers and suppliers to the electronics industry produce better. IPC members produce better and more reliable products through proven standards, certification, education and training, innovative solutions and industry intelligence.


IRT SAINT-EXUPERY
The IRT Saint Exupéry, a technological research institute and science accelerator, is working on the direct printing of electrical and electronic functions on 3D parts. These functionalized parts contribute to the simplification of systems and offer access to new available surfaces.


JET METAL TECHNOLOGIES
Jet Metal offers innovative metallization solutions. It is the inventor of the sputtering metallization technology, covered by more than 65 patents for the realization of metallic layers from 10nm to 5µm thickness on an infinite number of substrates (plastics, composites, textiles, ...). Its latest innovation is selective metallisation, which allows the creation of high-precision metallic patterns for the needs of printed electronics.


L2EC L2EC is an ISO 17025 COFRAC-accredited climatic environment testing laboratory that operates mainly in the automotive, aeronautical, military and railway sectors. Its fleet of more than 50 chambers allows climatic, salt spray, vibration and mechanical tests, protection index and also complementary tests. 


LABORATOIRE AMPERE
The Ampère laboratory is a platform for Advanced Packaging & 3D Plastronics. Among the achievements developed: plastronic MRI antennas, remote energy transmission by plastronic inductors, multidirectional proximity sensors, etc.


LABORATOIRE IMP
The IMP Laboratory has a unique set of skills in the field of polymeric materials. Its strength lies in its ability to coordinate scientific knowledge and resources to implement a multi-scale and multi-disciplinary engineering approach, by assembling fundamental building blocks from polymer chemistry and physics, and by designing materials that are environmentally friendly and provide functionality.


LEMAN INDUSTRIE
Leman is an international family-owned industrial group that designs, industrialises and manufactures products requiring specialisation in advanced mechatronics, turbo charging, complex cutting and metal transformation. Alongside industrialists and major equipment manufacturers, it pursues a dynamic industrial innovation strategy. Its know-how combines engineering, prototyping, cutting, injection, machining, assembly and wiring.


MPI
MPI specialises in plastic injection and the manufacture of a wide range of complex parts. From prototypes to large-scale production, each project benefits from personalised support, an expert approach and overall control of the process: co-development of parts and moulds, plastic injection, decoration and assembly.


METALIS GROUP
Metalis specialises in precision stamping, flat springing and overmoulding of complex metal or metal-plastic parts, combining in-line assembly in its manufacturing processes. With an international presence, Metalis is a reliable partner, working for all types of sectors, from small to large series.


PC2A PC2A is an association in the electronics sector, which enables industrialists and researchers to find answers to their problems together. It was created in 1997 by ST Microelectronics, HP, Insidix and a Grenoble laboratory. Its objective is to exchange, identify innovative subjects and find answers to each other's problems. The association has about 50 members, including large groups, SMEs, laboratories and consulting firms.


PLASTIFORM
Plastiform is a leader in the field of technical thermoforming. The company offers innovative and tailor-made solutions for the most demanding applications. In particular, it has developed an innovative thermoforming process for the 3D shaping of polycarbonate films with integrated electronic functions.


POLYMERIS

Polymeris is the result of the merger between the Plastipolis and Elastopole clusters, making it the only competitive cluster dedicated to rubber, plastics and composites. Polymeris offers services to manufacturers to help them develop new R&D projects, encourage and promote innovation and expand internationally.


POLYTRONICS

Polytronics is the combined plastics and electronics service offering of MPI and Scaelec, combining the intelligence of electronics with the flexibility of plastics: design, industrialisation and manufacture in small and medium-sized series, with two integrated production plants in the Rhône-Alpes Region.


PRINTOCENT

Coordinated by the Finnish research centre VTT, the PrintoCent cluster's mission is to create innovative components, solutions and products through printed electronics, combining them with emerging technologies, such as 3D printing and textile manufacturing. PrintoCent has about 40 members. 


PROTECNO Protecno is a manufacturer of complex printed circuits (digital, flex-rigid, microwave) and offers the metallization of plastic parts under the Arc 3D brand in the following volumes: prototypes, small and medium series, in short lead times.


PROCESS

Process is a plastics processing company specialising in thermoplastic injection. Using various presses, it shapes your parts by plastic injection, bi-material injection or SMC compression of thermosetting plastic. From the idea to production, Process carries out all the stages: design, prototyping, manufacture of moulds and tooling, injection or compression.


SCAELEC
Scaelec is specialised in the subcontracting of electronic boards and electronic devices. Recognised for its reliability, its technological expertise and its quality of service, the company is developing around a real industrial project and cultivates its difference for the greater satisfaction of its customers.


SMART PLASTIC PRODUCTS

S2P aims to create a French manufacturing sector for "intelligent plastic products" (in particular 3D-MID products), thanks to the provision of design, manufacturing, qualification and industrial transfer solutions for the entire product development value chain: technological feasibility, prototyping and pre-production.

SUDELEC
Sudelec has been an expert in the manufacture of electronic boards since 1982. It operates in demanding sectors, which require a very high level of expertise: aeronautics, medical, industry, automation, energy management, logistics, scientific research, etc.


VTT

As a leading research centre, VTT is very involved in the electronics industry and has been researching printed electronics for 20 years, with significant investment in pilot production lines. Today, when it comes to applying printed electronics to the creation of new products, VTT can be considered a global pioneer.


WEDO-FULL PLASTIC SYSTEMS

Wedo is a group that develops and manufactures plastic sub-assemblies by integrating co-development (rheology, co-design, prototyping), the manufacture of moulds in France and low-cost sourcing, the manufacture of parts on a range of machines from 35 t to 2,500 t (including gas injection, heat&cool, multi-material (4K), etc.), assembly in manual or robotic islands, finishing and decorating, with 2 automatic painting lines.
